Aspen Ridge Ranch in Red Lodge, Montana is so beautiful, it’s hard to describe in words. If you’ve been to Montana before you know how beautiful and spacious it is. In my opinion, I think it’s wonderful. I went to Aspen Ridge Ranch a couple of weeks ago and not only is the ranch magnificent but it’s energy efficient as well. And I don’t mean just a couple of solar panels. The house has a wind generator; solar tubes that heat the water, two big solar panels as well as windmill generated fresh water streams, creeks, ponds and a river.
The ranch it’s self is huge, about 250 acres, with trails going everywhere and almost forever. The barn is like a house for a horse and I was very jealous that my horse wasn’t with me to enjoy this fabulousness. The inside and outside of the barn is made of Brazilian Oak and the floor is covered with recycled rubber. When you tack up your horse to ride, they don’t have to stand on hard concrete. The floors of the stalls are covered with soft mulch and it feels like standing on a cloud.Outside pens are very large. I don’t know the exact measurements, but my guess is 12 feet wide and 18 feet long.

Aspen Ridge Ranch is so cool and I love it there. There’s so much space and freedom and only five minutes from the town of Red Lodge!

It is really wonderful to have our own power supply at the main huse. We had a 3' snowstorm over the week end and our battery back up worked wonderful.

Although we are having an unusually early snowfall, it is beautiful with the large, fluffy snowflakes slowly coming down. I love looking out the window and watching the snow fall and the horses enjoying themselves with the cooler weather. Winter is not here yet....this is just to get us in the mood.

I went on line and looked at the Ranch. The lots that are for sale are beautiful! My horse would truly feel that she had died and gone to heaven.

My family once owned a ranch like this, I remember watching our horses as they play, so sad it was sold to a businessman.
