Aspen Ridge Ranch in Red Lodge, Montana is so beautiful, it’s hard to describe in words. If you’ve been to Montana before you know how beautiful and spacious it is. In my opinion, I think it’s wonderful. I went to Aspen Ridge Ranch a couple of weeks ago and not only is the ranch magnificent but it’s energy efficient as well. And I don’t mean just a couple of solar panels. The house has a wind generator; solar tubes that heat the water, two big solar panels as well as windmill generated fresh water streams, creeks, ponds and a river.
The ranch it’s self is huge, about 250 acres, with trails going everywhere and almost forever. The barn is like a house for a horse and I was very jealous that my horse wasn’t with me to enjoy this fabulousness. The inside and outside of the barn is made of Brazilian Oak and the floor is covered with recycled rubber. When you tack up your horse to ride, they don’t have to stand on hard concrete. The floors of the stalls are covered with soft mulch and it feels like standing on a cloud.Outside pens are very large. I don’t know the exact measurements, but my guess is 12 feet wide and 18 feet long.

Aspen Ridge Ranch is so cool and I love it there. There’s so much space and freedom and only five minutes from the town of Red Lodge!
